SnowTunes: iTunes 9 OS X theme

Well it’s finally here!

This is SnowTunes, a port of iTunes 9’s UI to Mac OS X.

Included or inspired, from iTunes 9, are:
-Gradient window texture
-White list headers, highlight colour and scrollbars
-Rounded search field
-Toolbar buttons (in the style of iTunes play/pause buttons)
-Matching Safari and Firefox themes
-Progress bars to match scrollbars
-Knobs/sliders implemented in Finder icon view (equalizer and volume)

-> TO GET THE FIREFOX THEME, please go to the FIrefox folder included on the dmg and follow the links. A full native theme will be forthcoming in a future release.

IF YOU PLAN ON USING THE NOIR VARIATIONS, please remember:

1) iStat Menus must be downloaded for white time in the menubar
2) Menubar transparency must be UNCHECKED in Desktop Appearance Preferences. If you enable then disable it, the menubar will look funky. So just disable transparency before you logout when the install is done.

I strongly recommend installing this dock if you plan on using Noir (and Noir Max), it fits perfectly with the theme: [link]

THIS IS A SNOW LEOPARD (10.6) ONLY THEME.
Leopard support is coming in a future release.

Report any problems, concerns, praise or ideas in the project thread.

REMEMBER: Though unlikely to cause any problems, have a backup ready just in case.

Also, if you want to go from SnowTunes Noir/Noir Max to regular SnowTunes, please run the uninstall package, then install SnowTunes normally (if you don’t do this the white menu icons will remain).

Aqua Extreme 2.0 - New variant w iTunes 9-like scroll

I first introduced my own refined scrollbars and progressbars for 10.2. I had a falling out and did not update them for Leopard. But now that Snow Leopard is here, still using the 10.0 style elements, I thought it was time to do something about it.

You can choose between installing a refined version of the Aqua scrollbars, or scrollbars designed to match those in iTunes 9. Both variants use the same refined progressbars.

This package works with both 10.5.x and 10.6.x since the Extras.rsrc and Extras2.rsrc are unchanged between the two. It has only been tested on 10.6 and 10.6.1 though, so if you are running any other version, proceed at your own risk.
I had to separate the Leopard and Snow Leopard version for the Marble variant, so please use the appropriate installer.
