Windows 7 Themes, Wallpapers, Gadgets..

I would like to present to You my newest project, it is called Windows7Design.com and I’m very proud of what we did.

Website is focused on Windows 7 operating system customie world. It brings all the best Win7 themes, wallpapers, icons, gadgets and much more.

Site design was build from bases so it is very unique. Website is almost finished, we still make some things better, it is so hard to stop.

Anyway enjoy new look for Windows 7, also iTunes skins on new system

5. Sharing is sexy

Now you can share love using your favourite social media networks. I choose wisely only popular social media networks and hope this will be enough. This ’sharing is sexy’ function will be visible in single post and on home page.

6. Displaying Author Pic

I want to highlight authors here on iTunes as well. I think it is cool to know who is writing for you.

Conclusion on Part II

I delete “1. Tweeter support for all posts !” because it was too much. Now on main page you have only ‘Sharing is sexy’ functionality and twitter support is already there.

Also I add some many new things to single post end that i needed to reconfiguration the whole end and now it looks like this.

What do you think ? Is it good for you or play with it more ?

Looking at other things I think my next move will be implement gravatars in comments. This will bring cool stuff for people who comments on this site.

After yesterday iTunes Skins daily traffic increased very, most of new visitors comes from Google so this is a good news and I hope it will be permanent.

I also hope to cooperate with new people on this website. Looking at traffic I see that customize iTunes is very popular topic and many people like to play with iTunes.

iTunes Skins – Web site update Part I

Now you can twitt posts direct from my website. I don’t know if this will work for future but because last days I use twitter alot I implement this on my site. After every post on right side you see this ‘tweet’ icon and all you need to do is click, it will redirect you to twitter and prepare tweet for you. I hope twitter users will support my site and this will bring twitter users to iTunes Skins portal.

2. My personal twitts in sidebar

This functionality is on my site from sometime but I think it is worth to point it in this post also. Everything is clear on this one I hope

3. Pools in sidebar

This one will interact with all my visitors. I will put there some interested questions in future. For now I can use this for support questions and ask you about your opinion. Today I’ve asked you about those apple related news, do you like them or you want to see pure iTunes skins only. Hope to see some really interested pools for you in future.

4. Related posts

This new addition take almost half of a day to implement but it works. This is simple but working good, related posts function with thumbnails. It is pretty important, if you read for example one topic and you want to go fast to next post about this topic just click on related posts… or you browse one specific iTunes skin and then you need other version, you got it in five seconds. Also this should look good as design bonus.

Conclusion

I hope you like this new stuff here on iTunes Skins portal. Last days we have many updates from Apple.. new iTunes, iPhone stuff and all that apple related things.. but what is more important only few new iTunes Skins. This was my goal to put here more blog style information about Apple, iPhone & iTunes topics.

I could write here about many things but I think the most important factor is you, visitors. Your support is most important, so thx for visiting my site and if you have any observations about my site please leave your comments.

HowTo Customize iTunes 8 on Windows

Silent Night iTunes 8 Skins for Win works beautifully on my system.
Finally, iTunes matches my theme!

Since so many people seem to be having trouble, I’ve written up a walk-through that should get it to work for you.

1.) Follow the “Download: deviantART” link.

2.) On the DeviantArt page you come to, look at the left-hand menu. Click on “download.”

3.) Once you’ve downloaded it, use WinRar* to unzip the “Silent_Night_iTunes_for_[Win orMac]_by_DaHLiA_7.rar” file. This will give you the following files:
+ Readme.txt
+ Preview.png
+ iTunesMiniPlayer.Resources [folder]
+ InstallFont.exe
+ Restore default skin.exe**
+ Silent Night iTunes – Mac Syle.exe
+ Silent Night iTunes – Windows Style.exe

4.) EXIT iTUNES. If you get an error that you can’t install, go to the device manager (Ctrl-Alt-Del), and under the “Processes” tab, select “AppleMobileDevice.exe”, then “End Process.” There will be a warning popup; go ahead and select okay to close the program. Repeat this for “iPodService.exe,” and, if it’s still open, “iTunes.exe.” You should now be able to continue with the install.

5.) Double-click the “Install Font.exe” and follow the instructions to complete the install.

6.) If you have Windows, double-click “Silent Night iTunes – Windows Style.exe” file and follow the instructions to install. Open iTunes, and enjoy your new skin!

7.) If you have a Mac, double-click “Silent Night iTunes – Mac Style.exe” file and follow the instructions to install. Open iTunes, and enjoy your new skin!

*There’s also a “Restore default skin.exe” file in this download. All it does is reset iTunes to its original “skin.” It’s up to you if you want to hang onto it, but I would, just in case.

**If you don’t already have “Winrar,” get it. It’s a great program. Go to cnet.com and do a search for “winrar.” If you have Windows XP or older, download and install “WinRAR (32-bit) 3.90.” If you have Windows Vista and beyond, download and install “WinRAR (64-bit) 3.90.”
