I think on Mac this is pretty simple. On most of this iTunes themes for OSX there are simple instructions what you need to swap on your filesystem…

Create a back-up folder for your current iTunes application.
Copy your iTunes app into that folder. (Hold down the Option key, drag-and-drop iTunes app to the back-up folder.) Now you can freely work on the iTunes app in the Applications folder.
Control+click on the iTunes application icon. This will give you a sub-menu. In the sub-menu, select “Show Package Contents”. There you will see the folders described in the instructions.
Use the iTunes.rsrc file in the Album Art Bug Fix folder instead of the one in the MacOS folder.
The Localized.rsrc and GradientWindow.nib files should go in the English.lproj folder.
You’re really only replacing 4 files. (It seems.) If anyone can clear up why the Silent Night .zip file contains a whole bunch of other stuff I’d appreciate it. What is the PSD folder for and why are the hex values included?

Woa I just installed and reopened itunes and got “this copy of itunes is corrupted or is not installed correctly. Please reinstall itunes.” Can someone tell me how to fix this without losing all of my music?

First of all sorry to hear that. Itunes is just a software, it will not delete your music. Try to uninstalled iTunes and then install it one more time from scratch.

Only got iTunes.rsrc and Localized.rsrc in the zip file. From what I’m reading everyone is having issues implementing this skin :l

Hello, I don’t think you can remove just the skin, I had to uninstall iTunes then reinstall it. Just google how to do that for Mac or PC, I used the following link (I have an iMac)

I followed up to step 20 and did not remove the other files listed after that step. I then reinstalled iTunes and all is well.
I had to do this because when trying to download a new tune from the iTunes Store it would fail with error code err= -42100
I am using the latest version 9.2.1
I don’t know if this is a known bug for OS X 10.6.4, I hope there’s a fix cause the skin does look pretty cool!

I have a Windows 7 PC and i installed the Silent Night Theme but my menu bar wont show along with “Shuffle” “Repeat” and so on..i really love the theme i just want those to show

This skin needs to be upgraded to iTunes 10 because none of thge menu buttons show and they dont work. please upgrade! REALLY COOL SKIN!!!
